Introduction

Needing no introduction, we instead we want to talk about how we got introduced to tech giant, Google.

In 2015, it was Google France that first trusted us, and only a year later, we’d set up Orchid’s offices in the US.

From there, we showed up at the door of their HQ in San Francisco and since then our partnership only amplified.

One of our very first projects with Google in Mountain View was to help bring to life some ideas for a Google Play partnership pitch, and we were already trying to infuse our French touch here and there…

Problem

Google is always launching new products and developing new features which require a constant need for new communication tools, assets, support and frequent updates.

At first they were looking for a partner that not only could deliver quick, efficient work but who would master their complexity and evolving brands organically.

A second consideration was that Google is a global entity, with operations in all 4 corners of the world and because of this they would constantly have to manage both regional and global challenges; such as strategy continuity and adaptability…

Solution

Our biggest strength is our people and we have designed our organisation to scale and diversify teams at need, from business intelligence to ideation, 2D/3D design and more, we have developed skills and knowledge for growth.

A project can seamlessly start in New York and be delivered to Barcelona. Furthermore we have adopted a genuine interoperability between our offices and theirs.

We worked, designed and created countless brand toolkits and guidelines for many of Google brands and products. Some of them have also been transposed in Google’s own Partner Marketing Hub… with our help too!

We created a process to make us more efficient and flexible while providing relevant, consistent and high quality craftsmanship.
