In India, I/O Connect plays an even more critical role—strengthening Google’s position in a key growth market by engaging one of the world’s largest developer bases and showcasing localized product relevance. Over the past three years, Orchid has supported Google I/O Connect India, shaping event materials and keynotes that bring new innovations to life. With two major industry moments approaching, the Google for Games Developer Summit and GDC, Google partnered with Orchid to reposition Google Play within the evolving gaming landscape. We reimagined the Google for Games identity as a more immersive, game-centric 3D world, designed to translate product ambition into a cohesive visual system. This new language extended seamlessly across every touchpoint—from intro bumpers and sizzle reels to keynotes, websites, social, paid media, and full event environments—ensuring consistency between what was presented on stage and how it was experienced across channels. More than a rebrand, the work was built to shift perception and drive engagement at scale. The result was a significant surge in visibility and industry traction, with a 6x increase in registrations and strong media coverage, reinforcing Google Play’s position as a leading platform in gaming.

Indie Games Accelerator is designed to help the next generation of game studios scale on Android. Orchid partnered with Google to bring the program to life through a launch film that translates its value into a compelling, high-impact narrative. From concept to final production, we crafted a fully integrated 3D piece—blending storytelling, design, and animation to create a sense of momentum and opportunity. As the program expanded globally, we extended this vision into a detailed 3D world, reinterpreting iconic architectures to reflect its international reach and attract creators from across markets.
